Shine is a native Twitter client for Mac OS X. The goal of the project is to make Twitter as much fun to use on the Mac as the excellent Twinkle makes it on the iPhone. It aims to be a first-class Mac citizen, using only Cocoa interface elements and integrating well with Growl and Sparkle.

I'm really writing Shine for myself, not only to fill the void that prompted me to create it in the first place, but as a platform on which to teach myself some of the cool new frameworks in Leopard that I can't integrate into Tooble because of Tiger compatibility. For obvious reasons, 10.4 Tiger will never be supported.

PLEASE NOTE: This software is very much still in beta. There's bound to be bugs there seeing as I wrote the majority of Shine's codebase in one night.
